Jewish Identity and Heritage
At our school, being Jewish is an integral part of each child's identity and experience. We seek to inspire children to love God, develop a passion for Judaic studies and forge a personal connection with Israel. We are dedicated to daily prayer, doing mitzvot, tikkun olam and Hebrew proficiency.
Beginning with our Kitah Gan “Israel Trip” and concluding with our Eighth grade Israel pilgrimage, our students learn to love Israel as the eternal homeland of the Jewish people, a cradle of innovation and a shining democratic light in the Middle East.
Just as we develop personal educational goals, so too, we strive to support and encourage each child to develop a personal relationship with his or her faith and Jewish identity as he or she discovers his or her place in the larger Jewish world. Our Judaic studies curriculum is developed in-house and includes Torah/Tanach, Mishna, Gemara, Codes and contemporary Responsa and Midrashim.
